The Adoption Project
A full life ahead
We launched The Adoption Project to provide free fresh meals to dogs waiting to find a home. Supporting rescues is an essential part of our mission to provide all pets with the best possible nutrition.

Which animal shelters does JustFoodForDogs support?
We work with eight rescue partners: Thrive Animal Rescue, K9 Kismet, Muttville Senior Dog Rescue, Wags & Walks, Pug Nation Rescue, Korean K9 Rescue, Unconditional Senior & Special Dog Rescue, and PAWS Chicago. We supply meals to the dogs in their care.
How does JustFoodForDogs support new adopters?
Every dog adopted through one of our rescue partners comes with a two-week supply of JustFoodforDogs meals, dietary counseling from our team, and a welcome gift to help your new dog's first weeks go smoothly. If you're not sure how much to feed, just adopted a puppy, your new dog is switching from another food, or needs extra support for a health or dietary need, our Feeding Calculator, Puppy Feeding Guide, Transitioning to Fresh Food guide, and Vet Support Meals can help.
