Our beginnings
Inspired by his dog Simon, Shawn Buckley opened the first-ever kitchen dedicated to crafting fresh, complete, and balanced human-grade food for dogs.
In the 10+ years since, JustFoodforDogs has had one simple mission: do right by dogs.
Today, that mission drives everything we do, from our university-led research initiatives to our quality standards that have changed the dog food industry.

The Adoption Project
Since 2021 we’ve been helping dogs and owners find their best friends. So far we have helped feed and facilitate the adoptions of approximately 5,400 dogs and donated an estimated 43,000 meals to rescue organizations nationwide.
A part of every purchase goes towards feeding dogs in our rescue partners' care.
