Here's How It Works:
1. Tell Us About Your Pet
Complete and submit the Custom Diet Questionnaire to begin the process. Our team will review your submission and contact your veterinarian directly to obtain your pet's most recent medical records and a veterinary referral, if appropriate.
To help us safely and thoughtfully evaluate your dog's needs, we will request recent medical records from your veterinarian, including bloodwork (CBC, chemistry panel, and urinalysis completed within the last 6 months, if available).
Once we have received and reviewed the necessary information from your veterinarian, our clinical nutrition team will determine whether your dog qualifies for a custom diet.
Formulation Fee:
If your dog is approved for a custom diet, a $500 formulation fee will be required before formulation begins.
Estimated Food Cost:
For a 30 lb. moderately active dog, a 4-week supply typically ranges from $600 to $900+, depending on protein selection and your dog's specific dietary requirements.
2. We Review & Personalize
Our Veterinary Team carefully reviews your dog’s information to determine the best nutritional approach. If a custom diet is the right fit, we’ll create a recipe tailored specifically to support their health and wellbeing.
3. Fresh Meals, Delivered to You
Once your dog’s recipe is finalized, we get to work in our kitchen preparing fresh, whole-food meals made just for them. Each order is carefully packed and delivered straight to your door.
What to Expect
From submission to your first delivery, the process typically takes 4–6 weeks or longer, depending on the complexity of your dog’s needs.

Fresh-Frozen Custom Meals
We can prepare your pet's fresh-frozen personalized meal in our dedicated customs kitchen, where each diet is made one at a time and custom-packaged into daily amounts specific to each pet.
DIY Custom Meals
If you want to make your pet's custom diet at home yourself (DIY), you will receive a list of the ingredients to purchase and a recipe to follow. We will hand-prepare your pet's custom nutrient blend, formulated for your pet's unique recipe. Custom nutrient blends are prepared to pair specifically with your dog or cat's diet to ensure it is nutritionally balanced.
