Simon

Indian name: Fighting Bear Cat Claw... but that's another story. Ten years ago Simon was sitting in a cage at an Orange County animal shelter. He was about 6 months old and his family turned him in for unknown reasons. On the first night in his new home his human dad woke up to a strange thumping sound. After a few moments he realized it was Simon's tail - wagging at a steady pace and hitting the bedroom wall on one side and the ridge of his new super size doggie bed on the other. It was love. There are times when it seems he was born with a ball in his mouth. Chase it, catch it, find it, roll it, push it, he does it all. Simon is a natural puzzle solver and when he's not given a conundrum to decipher he will simply invent one by pushing or dropping his ball in a place from which escape seems unthinkable. Of course he will then set about rescuing the ball and succeeds a majority of the time. His favorite place is Dog Beach, his favorite food is Lamb & Brown Rice and his favorite human is dad.  

Nala

Nala Bala, Nala Boo, Boo Girl, Pumpkin, Boo Boo... the list goes on. She has more names than there are days of the week but most of the time she's just called Angel, because that's what she is. The sweetest, warmest, most loving dog in the world should hate every human she meets but instead has the opposite outlook. In 2007 The German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County saved her after she was left with no food and no water in an apartment in Azuza, Ca. Her future human mom agreed to foster the mal-nourished, furless and frightened shepherd and in less than 24 hours applied to be Nala's forever home. Andrea has fed her True Food For Dogs from the very first day Nala came into her life. Her coat is beautiful, she has gained 22 lbs and her favorite thing in the world is to meet new creatures... even humans.
