The Pointers

Gretchen is a German Shorthaired Pointer. She is 6 years old and is the mother of Kaarine and Hanz. She is loyal, obedient and active! Her favorite part of the day is a long run every morning. She can be seen most afternoons with both Hanz and Karrine "stalking" birds in the local field. She has a hearty appetite and loves to try new foods and treats. With the constant activities, daily exercise and her puppies still living with her, Gretchen is a well-adjusted confident dog. 

Kaarine is the 4 year old German Shorthaired Pointer
daughter of Gretchen. Karrine is clever, protective and always
willing-to please. She has tireless energy and is a great match
for her brother Hanz. They love to run and chase each other,
wrestle and play-fight for hours in the yard. However, they
rarely engage in this behavior when they are out in the field
chasing birds (which they never catch). For them
it almost appears to be a job, or responsibility
they have taken on... as if stalking and chasing
the birds is serious business and play time is
another matter altogether.  

Hanz is 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer. He is the son of Gretchen and the brother of Kaarine, he has a "puppy-go-lucky" demeanor and is the only family member with a obsession for squeaky toys and his favorite, no surprise, is squeaky duck. He also takes life less seriously than his mother and sister, opting for frequent, sometimes annoying, bursts of playful energy.
